This document will enable the FitnessForce Account Managers to install the Access control application for the club using Gantner. This application is also known as the V3 Access control application.
Below are the 10 steps for installing the V3 Access control application.
1. Check System requirements.
2. Download all the necessary files
3. Install Python
4. Install Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime
5. Install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013
6. Install MySQL Server (MySQL Community Server 5.7.20)
7. Configure MySQL Server
8. Install GAT.Direct.Connect Service
9. Install Certificate
10. Launch the V3 Application
1. Check System requirements:
Check the properties of the desktop before starting the installation.
Operating System: Windows 10 x64 bit
Hardware Requirements
Processor Minimum: Intel Core i3 @ 3.30GHz.
Recommended: Intel Core i5 or better.
RAM Minimum: 4GB
Recommended : 8GB
Hard disk Minimum: 50 GB
Recommended: 100 GB
Disk Format: NTFS Format Recommended
Start downloading all the necessary files.
2a. Download Python

Search For => AMD64/EM64T/x64 : Windows x86-64 MSI installer
2b. Download Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime

2c. Download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

Select the last option: vcredist_x86.exe 6.2 MB and Click on Next.
2d. Download MySQL Server (MySQL Community Server 5.7.20)

Select the above-highlighted text.
2e. Download GAT.Direct.Connect Service
Click on the Green Highlighted button to download the files from the google drive.
Start installing all the necessary applications.
3. Install Python
After opening the downloaded file you will get the above screen, Click on Next.
Click on next again.
Click on next, and the installation process will start.
Finally, click on the finish button.
4. Install Visual Studio Tools for Office Runtime 2010 setup
After opening the downloaded file, Check the checkbox (I have read and accepted the license terms.) and click on Install.
The installation process will start as shown in the above screen.
Click on the Finish button to complete the installation process.
5. Install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013
After installing the file you will see the above screen. Click on the close button to complete the installation process.
6. Install MySQL Server (MySQL Community Server 5.7.20)
After opening the installed file you will get the below screen, Check the checkbox (I accept the license terms ). And click on the Next button.
Select Developer Default.
Select the path where the application needs to be installed and click on the Next button.
If Manual Requirement if not fulfilled then install the required files manually.
Now Click on Execute.
Need to click on the Repair button for the installation of listed products.
Click on execute for below screen it will automatically complete.
After being installed the following tick mark appears, then click on the Next button.

NOTE : [In Case if MySql Server 5.7 is not being installed]. IF During Installation, MySql Server is not installed (Can be due to c++ Redistributable file (x64)) then run the MySQL Installer Again & After Click on Add: Running downloaded installer.

Click Execute.

After Being Installed. Click on next for product configuration and a new window will appear.
7. Configure MySQL Server
After that click on next
Creation of Accounts and Roles.
Set root account password: grip@123
To add a user: click on Add user & set the below credentials.
Username : grip_root
Password: grip@123
Click on ok.
After adding Users you will find the user details under MYSQL user accounts.
Click on Configure MySQL server as windows service and click on Next.
On the Plugin and extension window, click next.
Apply configuration and click on Execute.
Now click on the Finish button.
In the product configuration window click on the Next Button.
Click on the Check button to test the connection
Click on the finish button to complete the MySQL installation process.
8. GAT.Direct.Connect Service
Click on File Package to Install the Gat service.
Click on the Next button.
Then select Complete & click on Next.
Click on Finish to complete the installation process.
9. Install Certificate
Double click on the file to install Certificate.
Click on the Install Certificate button.
Click on Finish.
10. Launch the V3 Application
Click on the highlighted appx bundle file to start the application.
Once the installation is complete click on the launch button to launch the application.
