About the feature

This document will enable the FitnessForce Account Managers to generate the machine key for the access control application to work. The machine key is the alphanumeric key. e.g. FZCTES3063 which is required to be input on the first start of the access control application in any club. This key helps the access control application to download the member/staff details into the local database for sync. The alphanumeric key is appended with the tenant id.

  • Once you click on New Machine Key you will get the Manage Access Control Configuration page.

  • Now select the Company name, Center name from the drop-down list.

  • Fill the friendly Name & Description of the key which should reflect on access control application.

  • Select the appropriate device Model name in the dropdown menu.

  • Select the Supportive product type & Passthrough Supportive product type for which you want to allow the Member access on the biometric check-in device.

(Supportive product type - Not Mapped with any purpose

Passthrough Supportive product type - Mapped with a purpose)

  • Select the Verification mode (By Default you can select 1:N). This is used for PVM, Suprema Biomini & Appointment plus device.

  • Select the Appointment Attendance option as Member & User verification so that the Appointment device asks to verify finger/Palm for both Member & Staff.

  • Select the default Product Type as Gym Floor or the type which is assigned to the maximum number of members. So that the biometric device will check the selected default membership first for verifying the access which will reduce the time taken for verification by biometric device else the device will check for all the membership type & then grant/deny the access.

  • FF Model Name is applicable only for Appointment-Plus device configuration. So if the biometric device is Appointment plus then you have to select the model as ESSL 10 & FF Model Name as Appt+ else you can ignore this field.
